DotNetNuke© Skinning and CMS Themes

Our professional conversion service is for the production of CMS skins from your images designs or present site html. Our conversion process is the same for all skins.

Design Prototypes

From the images, html or present site you supply we create a mock-up of how your design will look and work in the CMS. This will show all the areas that can be edited from the CMS as well as where the menu bars, navigation, search, login links and footer menus will go.

We also show you areas that may need to be changed from your original design in case they cause issues in the CMS.

When you are happy with the mock-up and have approved it we will then begin the conversion task.

CSS, XHTML and Web Standards

We will convert your design to valid XHTML and CSS for each page design you require. You will require more than one XHTML page layout as a blog page will differ from a homepage. The XHTML layouts are real web pages and will give a true overview of what your site will look like on the web. Once we have coded the XHTML pages we validate them in all major browsers and test them with W3C standards.

Conversion to DNN Skin

The validated XHTML/CSS pages are then converted into Skins. We use the latest CMS skin objects with the correct xml and test them in a Production installation.

Conversion Timescale

All conversions take 7-10 days but if you need one done urgently please contact us to discuss your requirements.
